gah, i am le tired.

but do not launch le missles. even if we were kinda short staffed and i worked almost 11 hours having eaten only most of a bagel before my shift, at least i made a good amount in tips... also partly due to the short staffedness. so apparently saturdays are our busy nights. mmmmm, money.

i also broke things at work for the first time, though at least not in front of customers. part of one salt shaker, and a water glass. and then there was the glass iced tea pitcher, but i will not take the blame for that, as i was doing exactly what the store manager told me to do. he grabbed a warm pitcher, filled it with ice, and then asked me to pour hot tea into it.
it was kinda neat watching it cleave itself in half though.

That happened to someone in my high school chemistry class.

Hehe, my sister did the opposite once - she was misting down her snake's cage prior to putting the snake back in (it had been out to play), and the heat lightbulb at the top was very hot. Water from mister + lightbulb = small glass explosion. Everyone was okay, though, and the snake got a free cleaning for her cage.
